Supremely amazing vintage 70's couture evening gown by Bill Blass for Saks Fifth Avenue. Incredible design, silhouette and construction. Features ultra delicate sheer silk chiffon that floats in the most ethereal way. Sheer illusion bodice in sage with a graphic dot pattern and long sleeves with covered button closures at wrist. Ruched inset bust detail and pointed drop waist that melts into a four layered supermodel length maxi skirt. Beautiful ombre silk makes up the first two layers with a coral and larger dot print third layer and silk satin lining in shell pink. Rear zip closure and single covered button closure at back of neckline. Breathtaking movement. A rare and drool worthy find by one of my favorite designers. Made in the U.S.A.
