Fairy tale dream dress. Made from an antique hand stitched + hand embroidered crazy quilt. This truly special quilt features the most breathtaking patterns and color combinations in mostly lightweight wools with bright cross stitch hand embroidery throughout. Lined in soft cream feedsack cotton and a chambray gingham cotton. The silhouette was inspired by a favorite vintage dress and given a more structural avant-garde scalloped sleeve (which can be tucked in if desired). Trapeze shape with folded pleats at yoke. Sewn with french seams. Bodice is fully self lined. All hand finished hems. Only one made.

Condition: This is made from an antique textile and naturally has some imperfections including some small holes, missing stitches in embroidery and faint discoloration to lining here and there. I have hand patched some flaws but think these subtle imperfections lend character and authenticity to the piece. If you are looking for something perfect, please do not purchase this.
